Butchart Gardens Fireworks Tour

Butchart Gardens Fireworks! It must be summer time.

Cruise Victoria offers tours to the world famous Butchart Gardens to view the fireworks every Saturday night in July and August. Departing from downtown Victoria - 811 Government Street, we offer a 6:00pm departure and a 7:30pm departure with a return trip following the fireworks display.

Are you on a cruise ship, tours are designed to depart the Gardens at 10:45pm to return to your cruise ship by 11:20pm - prior to the ships All Aboard time. If you are not on a cruise ship we have a departure at 11:10pm so there is no rush to return to the motor coach.

Want to stay all day - Cruise Victoria allows guests to travel to the Gardens on any of our frequent schedules and return in the evening. Cost of the tour including admissions and tax is $49.00 Adult, $30 Youth and $19.00 Child.

2009 Butchart Gardens Tour Season in Full Swing!

With a kick off day of April 17th, Cruise Victoria began providing daily tour service to an from the Butchart Gardens from Downtown Victoria. Gary Gale, Manager of CVS says "we are seeing a large number of passengers on our service from Blackball Line's Coho Ferry and from Clipper Navigations "Victoria Clipper" vessels." The number of riders continue to rise as the CVS Tour is the least expensive option to travel to the Gardens and includes full narrations and all admissions. Prices start at $10.50 owe way without admission to the Gardens and complete packages for adults are $49 Canadian or $44 USD.

Butchart Gardens Tour 2009

This April 17th, 2009, CVS Cruise Victoria will start operating to the world famous Butchart Gardens with multiple daily tours.

Offering the flexibility and price of a shuttle type service, the Cruise Victoria Tour will also offer tour narration and the benefits of a quality tour product. The spring schedule includes five departure times from downtown Victoria with convenient pick-up at select Hotel properties. Guests are permitted to choose their return times from the Gardens allowing visits to be tailored to include an extended stay, lunch or afternoon tea. Visit the spring tour schedule page.

Pricing is in Canadian Funds with Adults at $49 including admissions and taxes. US Adult fares are $42 per person.

Christmas at The Butchart Gardens - New CVS Sightseeing Tour

Starting on December 6th, 2008 CVS Sightseeing will offer daily service to the world famous Butchart Gardens. Through until January 6th, the Butchart Gardens is a Christmas wonderland complete with it's own skating rink. Thousands of lights make this a holiday event not to miss, so catch the spirit of Christmas with The Butchart Gardens and CVS Sightseeing.

CVS will provide a fully narrated tour to the Gardens with hotel pick ups at select hotel properties in Victoria's downtown. Tickets are available at Tourism Victoria as well as onboard the motor coach at time of pick up. Cost of the tour including admissions and tax is $42.00 and reservations are required by calling 250.893.9503.

Tour departure time is 6pm from the Empress circle drive or slightly earlier from various downtown hotels

Cruise Victoria reaches Environmental Milestone

CVS Cruise Victoria is a provider of motor coach and shuttle bus services in Victoria, BC Canada. We provide services for Cruise Lines and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority in addition to serving tourists from around the world. Since the inception of the Company in early 2007, Cruise Victoria has been operating it's fleet of motor coaches on various blends of Bio-Diesel. In April of 2008 we moved to using 100% Soy based Bio-Fuels - with no fossil fuels being burned.

Today we are proud to announce that Cruise Victoria has reached reductions of 100 tonnes of green house gases. This is equivalent to reducing the number of vehicles on the road annually by 20 passenger cars, just by using Bio-Fuel instead of Fossil Fuel. We further reduce our carbon foot print by our strict policies limiting engine idling, in addition to monitoring our passenger loads to ensure that our coaches only operate when necessary. Our average load factor in 2008 was 41.2 passengers per trip (Cruise Shuttle Services).

We remain the only major motor coach operator in Western Canada operating using 100% Bio-Fuel and we look forward to continuing success with the program in the future.
