Butterfly Gardens - Now offered by CVS Cruise Victoria

Cruise Victoria now offers Butterfly Gardens as an option on selected Butchart Gardens Tours. Effective August 5th, 2010 - Cruise Victoria will offer an optional stop at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens on its 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:10pm and 2:20pm departures for the Butchart Gardens.

Operating similar to a shuttle bus service direct to Butchart Gardens, the service offers luxury motor coaches, driver narration and hotel pick-up at select Victoria hotels. The adult rate for the service is $59.50 and includes entrance to Butterfly Gardens, Butchart Gardens and round trip transportation.

Cruise Ship Guests visiting Butchart Gardens

If you are arriving into the Port of Victoria, BC you may already have booked your shore excursion to Butchart Gardens.... then again maybe you have not. Cruise guests planning on going to the Butchart Gardens need to travel the 18 miles out to the Gardens and get back to the ship in time for the ships all aboard. One of the easiest ways to get to the Butchart Gardens and to ensure you get back to the ship is by travelling with CVS Cruise Victoria. Cruise Victoria is a bus tour Company and they run regular tours to the Butchart Gardens in addition to Victoria City Tours. The tours leave from 811 Government Street in downtown Victoria, however Cruise Victoria also offers a shuttle service from all Cruise Lines to downtown Victoria making it easy to make your connection. The 2010 price for the Butchart Gardens Tour is $48.00 for adults and includes the $29.50 admission to the Gardens themselves.

Victoria Cruise Ship Visitors

Victoria, BC Canada is a Port of Call for Alaskan Cruises, many arrivals are in the evening and all guests should take the opportunity to see this lovely City.

Cruise Lines offer a variety of Shore Excursions, but for those who have not purchased through the ship there is still opportunity to take a tour or just go downtown to see the City. Cruise Victoria is a bus company and offer a shuttle bus meeting all cruise line arrivals into the Port of Victoria at Ogden Point. The shuttle bus cost $7.00 but this gets you downtown plus back to the ship - and if you show your pass your can ride back and forth as many times as you wish.

Once in downtown Victoria, there are numerous tour options not the least of which are the Deluxe Victoria City Tour (1.5 hrs) or the Butchart Gardens Tour (min. 3 hrs - or stay as long as you wish). Butchart Fireworks 2010

It is one of our favorite tours - Butchart Gardens Evening Illuminations with Fireworks! Every Saturday evening in July and August - Fireworks at the Butchart Gardens.

The best tour in town - Cruise Victoria - has a 7:15pm departure from our 811 Government Street sales stand to the spectacular Butchart Gardens. The tour departs the Gardens at 10pm or immediately following the fireworks whichever comes first. At a cost of just $48.00 including the Gardens entrance fee this is one very good deal.

Want more time at the Gardens? Take anyone of our earlier departures to the Butchart Gardens and return when you want to. You are not locked in to any specific return time from Butchart's.

Arriving in Victoria by cruise ship - Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays we also provide an 8pm departure from our downtown location - so take a shuttle bus from the Victoria cruise terminal to downtown and you can pick up our tour to the Gardens - it is quick and inexpensive. The return is easy - we will drop you off directly back at your ship and we will be back to the ship prior to 11:20pm - all aboard is 11:30pm! Don't miss out!
